Firefighters extinguished a house fire in DeKalb County early Wednesday morning. Crews were dispatched at 1449 Bentley Woods Lane at about 2 a.m. When they arrived, firefighters saw smoke and flames coming from the back of the house. Two children suffered minor smoke inhalation and were evaluated by EMS workers.
DeKalb County fire officials said crews are responding to the 1100 block of Briarcliff Rd NE, which appears to be a townhome or condo complex.
