BART service between the Lake Merritt station in Oakland and the Dublin and Berryessa stations was shut down Tuesday morning because of a fire near the San Leandro station

Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) service in much of the East Bay was disrupted during the Tuesday afternoon commute, as crews made repairs following an early morning fire near the San Leandro station.

BART service has halted on Tuesday morning between Berryessa station, Dublin/Pleasanton station and Lake Merritt, the transit agency reports.
