An atmospheric river brought additional rain, strong winds, and flooding to the Bay Area Tuesday, triggering evacuation orders for the area around the Russian River in Sonoma County.

In Sonoma County, Green Valley Creek at Martinelli Road has reached a moderate flood stage, and the Russian River at Guerneville is expected to have minor flooding by Wednesday morning. Flooding in the North Bay is expected to continue throughout the day, the weather service said.
