Chazelle set a first-look deal with Paramount in 2022. The studio announced in 2024 that Chazelle was working on a new movie — reportedly a biopic about stunt performer Evel Knievel led by Leonardo DiCaprio — but the filmmaker pivoted his attention after DiCaprio dropped out.

Craig, who wrapped up playing James Bond with 2021’s No Time to Die, has his third Benoit Blanc mystery thriller, Wake Up Dead Man, due to hit from Netflix later this year. Before the prison movie, the actor will shoot Greta Gerwig’s Narnia.

Cillian Murphy and Daniel Craig may be set to star in a new Damien Chazelle film. Chazelle, the director well known for Whiplash and La La Land, reportedly wants Cillian and Daniel to star in his next film.
