Timberwolves Among Confirmed Suitors for Bradley Beal originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The Minnesota Timberwolves' quiet offseason has come as a surprise to the team, which has seen major trades orchestrated by president of basketball operations Tim Connelly.
According to NBA Insider Jake Fischer, the Timberwolves are one of the teams that have expressed interest in former All-Star guard Bradley Beal, who is expected to be bought out.
The Phoenix Suns are expected to work on a buyout with Bradley Beal. And once Beal hits the open market, the Minnesota Timberwolves are reportedly interested in swooping him up, per Jake Fischer of The Stein Line.
“Other teams that are expected to pursue Beal include the Clippers, Los Angeles Lakers, Golden State Warriors, and Milwaukee Bucks,” Siegel said. “The Detroit Pistons and Denver Nuggets have been mentioned as potential suitors for Beal on the open market, yet ClutchPoints was unable to confirm potential interest from these two organizations.”
The NBA offseason has been defined by high-profile trades to this point. Malcolm Brogdon could be a candidate to add to that list in a sign-and-trade deal.
