The NWS Wilmington NC released an updated coastal flood advisory at 8:14 p.m. on Sunday valid from 10 p.m. until Monday 4 a.m. for Inland New Hanover.

A widespread 1 to 3 inches of rain is forecast with some isolated areas getting upwards of 7 inches. A flood watch is issued when the atmospheric ingredients exist for flooding to occur.
