Russian oil supplies to Hungary and Slovakia could be suspended for at least five days after a Ukrainian strike on a facility in Russia, Hungarian and Slovakian officials said on Friday, in a widening of the fallout of Russia's war in Ukraine.

Ukraine has struck the Druzhba pipeline’s Unecha pumping station for the second time in a week, halting Russian crude deliveries to Hungary and Slovakia and triggering renewed tensions over Central Europe’s energy security.

The European Commission is in contact with Slovakia and Hungary after they appealed to it following the attack on the Druzhba oil pipeline, calling it a threat to Russian oil supplies. Source: European Pravda,
