The Israel Defense Forces has issued a major evacuation warning for southern Gaza, telling all residents in the area around the city of Khan Younis to leave. The IDF says it is preparing to launch an "unprecedented attack" against Hamas in the area.

The first few aid trucks have entered Gaza following nearly three months of Israel’s complete blockade of food, medicine and other supplies.

The Israeli military has issued an evacuation order for residents of Khan Younis, Gaza’s second-largest city, warning of an “unprecedented attack” in the area.

The official reiterated that Hamas seeks a comprehensive package deal that includes the release of all hostages held in Gaza in exchange for an agreed number of Palestinian prisoners, a permanent ceasefire, a full Israeli withdrawal from the Gaza Strip, and the entry of humanitarian aid.
