New York Mets right-hander Kodai Senga, the major league ERA leader, was diagnosed with a Grade 1 strain of his right hamstring, hours after he was placed on the 15-day injured list.

The important step now for Senga and the Mets is to ace this recovery process, in a way they didn’t with either of Senga’s rehabilitations last year.
