NFL Draft cycle is entering its final month. The NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis is in the books, and all 32 teams' draft needs are beginning to become more clear with the new league year kicking off and ushering in free agency.

Former Cowboys head coach Jimmy Johnson held a two-word roster-building philosophy: speed kills. His old boss and current Dallas owner/general manager, Jerry Jones, should embrace that approach. Golden took the silver at the combine with the second-fastest 40-yard dash time (4.29). The Cowboys require a WR2 boost regardless.

Jones discussed a few topics at the NFL Annual Meeting, including some injury updates and DeMarcus Lawrence’s recent Dallas criticism.

On a podcast, " Scoop City ," The Athletic reported that Cowboys owner Jerry Jones "really likes Travis Hunter." The two-way player out of Colorado is projected to be selected with one of the first four picks in the draft, meaning if Dallas really wants him, it would have to give up a package of picks to bring him to Arlington.

A report on Tuesday indicated that the Cowboys have offered to make Micah Parsons the highest-paid non-quarterback in the NFL and that Parsons has agreed to the framework of an extension.
