Squid Game has quickly taken over Netflix since the release of Season 2. In its first full week on the streamer, the second season racked up 58.2M views from December 30 to January 5, not only maintaining its position as most-watched title of the week,

The debut of RAW clocks in at a massive 183 minutes, over three hours, and featured the likes of The Rock and others returning for the big event. And unlike other Netflix shows, part of the stipulation here is traditional commercial breaks.

Season 2 of “Squid Game” is racking up views at a record pace. After topping Netflix’s charts last week with 68 million views in four days — Netflix’s biggest TV debut ever — the season picked up another 58.

While Netflix has established that season 3 of Squid Game is coming in 2025 in multiple promos for its content in the coming year, they may have accidentally let the exact date slip.

Squid Game season 3 doesn't have an official release date but Netflix has confirmed it will be out in 2025. Filming has already finished on the third season and show creator Hwang Dong-hyuk has confirmed in late 2024 they were working on post-production.
