Elon Musk’s feud with President Donald Trump has reignited, with the tech billionaire threatening to launch a new political party and Trump suggesting Musk could be punished for his opposition.

Musk has taken issue with the bill saying that it flies in the face of everything he thought he was supporting. Trump appointed Musk to head up the newly formed Department of Government Efficiency and was tasked with reducing “waste, fraud, and abuse” in government spending.

Trump warned Musk has “a lot to lose” if the government probes the massive subsidies and contracts for Musk’s companies and maybe even his immigration status.
