Environment and Climate Change Canada has issued a special weather statement for the Lower Mainland for another potential blast of snow.

Early Wednesday, temperatures dropped below -8 Celsius, with flurries expected later in the afternoon. The snowfall is expected to spread over parts of the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island, and will continue into the night. Most regions will see between 2 to 4 centimetres of snow, though some areas may see more than 5 centimetres.
