The pro-wrestling headliner is ready for nights on the town — and a prime-time date with a steel cage at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

As initially reported by WrestleTix, NXT at the Yuengling Center has been cancelled due to poor ticket sales. While Saturday Night's Main Event and Raw are nearly sold out, and NXT Battleground has shipped around 6,000 tickets, Tuesday's NXT event had only sold approximately 1,700 tickets before it was cancelled.

WWE shortened its Tampa residency after fewer than 2,000 tickets were sold for next Tuesday’s NXT live TV event.

The wrestling empire will host a “takeover” of the Yuengling Center with four consecutive events beginning Friday, May 24 — with one featuring superstar (and Pasco County resident) John Cena. First, WWE will bring “Saturday Night’s Main Event” on May 24,
