Head coach Antonio Pierce and general manager Tom Telesco both got fired after one season, and a big reason for that was due to bad quarterback play from Gardner Minshew and Aidan O’Connell.

Last offseason, the Las Vegas Raiders made one of the biggest moves of any team in the National Football League. The Raiders' former general manager, Tom Telesco, recently gave insight to the move.

Tom Telesco was certainly not expecting to see his pink slip after the 2024 season, but it ended up being his lone year in the general manager’s chair for the Las Vegas Raiders.

It turned out to be all for show, however, as Pierce was ultimately canned within 24 hours of that press conference, and general manager Tom Telesco followed him out the door shortly after.

It was short-lived but Tom Telesco's lone season as the Las Vegas Raiders' general manager may impact the Raiders for the next decade.

Antonio Pierce and Tom Telesco only got one year at the helm of the Silver and Black, and while the results were disastrous, Telesco actually added several solid pieces to the roster.
