Jeep is adding another level to its plug-in hybrid lineup with the introduction of the 2025 Wrangler 4xe Backcountry.Built off the Wrangler 4xe Sahara’s platform, the Backcountry keeps the same plug-in hybrid powertrain that produces 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque.

Jeep has introduced the 2025 Wrangler 4xe Backcountry, a limited-edition model designed to enhance the off-road capabilities of the Wrangler 4xe Sahara while adding premium tech and convenience features. Production for the model is limited to 5,800 units for North America.

On the capability front, Jeep includes a front trail camera, which isn't available on the regular Sahara, the towing package, and the Jeep Power Box. The Power Box is an accessory that plugs into the 4xe's charging port to power small appliances.
