The New York Jets made the decision to move on from future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers earlier this offseason. Following that move, it was clear that the Jets would look to add a new starting quarterback in either free agency or the 2025 NFL draft.

Justin Fields is expected to sign a two-year, $40 million deal with the New York Jets. Many analysts are calling it a low-risk, high-reward move for a quarterback who was the No. 11 overall pick in 2021.
