Wisconsin head coach Luke Fickell went for continuity in his hire of new general manager, Marcus Sedberry.

Wisconsin football announced Feb. 17 the hiring of Marcus Sedberry as the program’s new general manager. Sedberry has been involved in Wisconsin football operations for the past three years as both a deputy athletic director and a chief operating officer.

Marcus Sedberry, former Deputy Athletic Director, has been appointed as the new general manager for Wisconsin Football. Sedberry replaces Max Stienecker, who recently left for a similar position at USC.

The Wisconsin football team has their new GM after Maximus Stienecker left the Badgers to become the Executive Director of Player Personnel for the USC Trojans a few weeks ago.

MADISON – Marcus Sedberry, who was announced as Wisconsin football’s general manager Monday, is very familiar with the program though he hasn’t been on staff.

Marcus Sedberry will “lead the Badgers roster management, player personnel and football operations” in the new role.
