By Andrew Goudsward WASHINGTON (Reuters) -Kilmar Abrego Garcia, the man wrongly deported from Maryland to El Salvador before being returned to the United States on migrant smuggling charges, is seeking sanctions against the Trump administration for allegedly stonewalling an inquiry into efforts to secure his return.

Kilmar Ábrego García is returned to US to face criminal charges, three months after he was mistakenly deported.

A district judge in Maryland ruled the government acted illegally in his case, and the Supreme Court unanimously ordered the government to begin the process of releasing him on April 10.
