State champions Jackson, Thompson and Parker each placed two on the Alabama Sports Writers Association Super All-State team, a list of the top 12 high school football players in Alabama for 2024 regardless of classification.

The Alabama High School Athletic Association announced Wednesday that the Super 7 state football championship game will be held in Mobile in 2026 and 2028. AHSAA officials said the plan is for the game to be held at Birmingham’s Protective Stadium in 2025 and 2027,

MONTGOMERY – The Alabama High School Athletic Association Executive Director Heath Harmon announced Wednesday the future sites for the Super 7 state football championships for the next four years. Those sites will be Birmingham’s Protective Stadium and Mobile’s Hancock Whitney Stadium on the campus of the University of South Alabama.

The AHSAA Central Board has officially approved a plan for the Super 7 football championships after an executive session on Wednesday.
