Apple users are starting to get ways out of the iPhone maker’s so-called “walled garden" which imposes restrictions and fees on payments through iOS apps.

To fuel its growth, RevenueCat has raised $50 million in Series C funding in a round led by existing investor Bain Capital. Returning investors, including Index Ventures, Y Combinator, Adjacent, Volo Ventures, and SaaStr Fund, also participated.

Google didn't let developers easily pull the release of their apps and app updates, but the company is now introducing this option.
