Sen. Bernie Sanders joined local labor unions, immigrant rights groups and thousands of supporters for a rally on Thursday outside City Hall. Sanders headlined the For the Workers, Not the Billionaires May Day Rally in Philadelphia as part of his nationwide “Fighting Oligarchy” tour.

A massive crowd gathered at City Hall in Philadelphia Thursday for a May Day rally and to see Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders speak. The "For Workers, Not Billionaires" rally on the north side of City Hall drew a large crowd and shut down streets in the area.

Protesters will take to the streets in Philadelphia and elsewhere across the country to highlight the fight against President Donald Trump and his policies.
