Despite a "decrease in leads and tips" on where Decker may be, the sheriff's office said detectives remain "actively engaged in processing evidence and will continue to follow up" on any new information they receive on the father's possible whereabouts -- including the sighting in Idaho earlier this month, which turned out not to be Decker.

Decker has been the subject of a manhunt since June 2 when his three daughters were found murdered near his abandoned pickup truck in Washington state

The search for Travis Decker, the father wanted for murdering his daughters in late May, has been scaled back after what Washington authorities say is a decline in new investigative leads.
