A second major power outage has hit southeastern France, this time in Nice, after a suspected arson damaged an electrical facility.

Around 160,000 households lost power for around five hours on Saturday, while a further 45,000 suffered an overnight outage, which was rectified by early Sunday morning, with officials pointing to "malicious acts" as the cause.
