By Sachin Ravikumar and Muvija M LONDON (Reuters) -British police on Monday launched a criminal investigation into musical duo Bob Vylan and Irish rap band Kneecap's gigs at the Glastonbury music festival after they led chanting against the Israeli military and Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

The BBC apologized as British Prime Minister Keir Starmer criticized the state broadcaster for airing a punk duo live. The group’s visa to tour the U.S. was canceled.

Deputy secretary of state Christopher Landau confirmed the duo's visas have been revoked "in light of their hateful tirade at Glastonbury, including leading the crowd in death chants."
