France's military took part in efforts to stop Iranian drones targeting Israel prior to this week's ceasefire, the country's defence minister Sebastien Lecornu said late on Wednesday.

It took a CBS News crew more than 14 hours to drive south from Turkey to Tehran, a nearly 600-mile trip made longer by checkpoints and bad roads.

The head of the Israel Defense Forces said Tuesday that “the campaign against Iran is not over” as a ceasefire between the two countries went into effect. President Donald Trump also vowed that Israel will not attack Iran and told Israel to bring its pilots home.
