Joao Pedro has completed his £60million move to Chelsea from Brighton. The Blues have swooped to add another option to their front line with the Brazil international signing a seven-year deal at Stamford Bridge. Newcastle United were also eager to sign the 23-year-old with Pedro preferring a move to London.

Chelsea signed Brazil striker Joao Pedro from Brighton in a deal worth a reported £60 million ($79 million) on Wednesday. Borussia Dortmund winger Jamie Gittens could also be a Chelsea player soon after a deal worth up to a reported 65 million euros ($76 million) was agreed for the 20-year-old on Saturday.

According to transfer reporter Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea are not done yet in the transfer market, following the recent signing of new attacking players. The Blues are currently competing in the Club World Cup in the USA, where they have advanced to the quarter-finals of the tournament.
