The Jacksonville Jaguars have reportedly agreed to terms with two new tight ends. Jonnhy Mundt and Hunter Long are headed to Duval.

According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Media, Johnny Mundt reached terms with the Jacksonville Jaguars on a two-year deal worth $5.5 million. The backup tight end for the Vikings had emerged as a reliable redzone target and critical third-down choice for Sam Darnold in 2024.

The Minnesota Vikings have lost a couple of players on the offensive side of the ball to the Jacksonville Jaguars as the “legal tampering” period of free agency gets into full swing. Numerous sources are reporting that the Jaguars have agreed to terms with both quarterback Nick Mullens and tight end Johnny Mundt.

The Jags are also inking tight end Johnny Mundt, per Garafolo’s colleague Tom Pelissero. His deal is also two years in length and it is worth $5.5MM. Mundt, along with Mullens, will look to have success in continuing to work with Udinski in Duval County.
