SHREVEPORT, La. - Early in their investigation after the murder of Billy Jamison, Shreveport police say two names quickly popped up on their radar.

Kelvin Lewis, 38, made the assertion in a court motion in response to his 2005 conviction on two armed robbery charges, one of which involved use of a gun. He was sentenced to 25 years.
