Marvel has confirmed the return of fan-favourites like Iron Man, Captain America, and the super-powered X-Men. Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige recently spoke to the media about the upcoming films, stating that the plans will roll after 2027's 'Avengers: Secret Wars.

Readers who are tired of that approach to character writing are better off reading the comics, where Iron Man is portrayed to be far more grounded in his depiction. He's still a charming playboy, but more rooted as a real person without the desire to quip every five seconds.

While discussing Avengers: Secret Wars, Feige said Marvel will also be recasting the X-Men. He emphasised that this recast would result in a “reset” rather than a “reboot”.
