Marc Marquez claimed a seventh successive MotoGP victory as he won the Hungarian Grand Prix on Sunday. The Spanish rider started from pole position on his Ducati and slipped to third on the opening lap, but he recovered to claim a confident win at the Balaton Park circuit in Balatonfokajar.

MotoGP returned to Hungary for the first time in over three decades, with the new Balaton Park Circuit making its debut on the calendar. Marc Marquez once again proved unstoppable, recovering from an eventful opening lap to take his seventh consecutive double victory weekend.
