SAN DIEGO (AP) — A private plane approaching an airport crashed in a San Diego neighborhood, killing the six people on board, including groundbreaking alternative music executive Dave Shapiro.

From a music exec to photographer to martial artist, more is being learned about the lives lost in the early morning crash that took six lives.

Shapiro, co-founder of Sound Talent Group, and two employees were among those killed in the San Diego plane crash.
