Three people remain in critical condition and several others are also hospitalized after a skydiving plane carrying 15 crashed near an airport in Gloucester County on Wednesday evening. Fourteen occupants were hurt, with injuries ranging from critical to minor, officials said. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

The plane, a Cessna 208B, had engine trouble minutes after taking off from a small airport in Gloucester County, officials said. Three people were critically injured.

Skydive Cross Keys said in a statement that the aircraft developed "mechanical issues" at roughly 3,000 feet after takeoff.
