Beyoncé, the most-awarded artist in Grammy history, has finally won album of the year. Beyoncé picked up the top prize at Sunday night’s 67th Grammy Awards with “Cowboy Carter,” her bold yet scholarly exploration of the Black roots of country music.

Going into Sunday’s 2025 Grammy Awards, Beyoncé led the way with 11 nominations — and she left with the top prize of the night, album of the year for Cowboy Carter. Bey ended up with three awards total — also including best country album for Carter and best country duo/group performance for “II Most Wanted” with Miley Cyrus.
