There are tornadoes on the ground right now in Illinois. The heat and humidity are increasing over Indiana and the southern half of Lower Michigan. This newest tornado watch issued at around 1 p.m. Eastern covers the next area to have tornadic storms move into it.

A major tornado watch has been issued for four U.S. states on Wednesday evening. Strong tornadoes have hit in multiple U.S. states in recent days, including Illinois, Colorado and Nebraska. More could be coming on Wednesday night.

A tornado watch was issued for Southwest Michigan early Wednesday afternoon, specifically the counties of Berrien, Branch, Cass and St. Joseph where the watch will be in effect into 8 p.m. ET. June is considered the peak tornado season in Southeast Michigan.

A Tornado Watch is in effect, as is a Flood Watch, for large swaths of the Chicago area Wednesday. The possibility of stronger tornadoes is most likely from Ottawa to the Loop, especially on the South Side,

Storm trackers got a wild ride on their journey through the Canadian prairies Thursday when a massive and dusty tornado dropped down in front of their cars.

Strong storms have started moving into the Chicago area, particularly in the south and southeast suburbs and Northwest Indiana. The storms could bring tornadoes and flooding.
