Jacksonville Jaguars rookie and recent No. 2 overall draft pick Travis Hunter has found an NFL mentor in teammate Brian Thomas Jr. The two wide receivers have seemingly grown close during summer OTAs ahead of their first season together in Jacksonville.

Jacksonville Jaguars rookie Travis Hunter has yet to participate in team drills during open OTA practices. The Jaguars released a video showcasing Hunter's impressive interception during a closed practice. Hunter made a highlight-reel play, tipping the ball to himself before securing the catch.

The Jaguars posted a video of Hunter Tuesday making a wild interception while in coverage on Darius Lassiter. Hunter deflected the pass using his right arm, and then was able to reel in the ball for the interception while falling to the ground. The play may have been overturned if this were a real game, but it was an impressive effort nonetheless.
