Nov 2, 2014 · Tried multiple Ultra High-Speed HDMI cables, including a 13-ft certified cable and the Sonos-supplied shorter HDMI cable. Verified that eARC is enabled and adjusted various audio settings (Pass-Through, Auto, PCM). While the shorter Sonos cable reduces the dropouts slightly, the problem persists.

Oct 25, 2024 · To an extent all these channels that single soundbars (like the sonos or even the samsung) advertise is just that, an advertisement to get people to buy. Lets take the Q990C as an example, the soundbar itself (ignoring everything else) has 7 channels (excluding the 2 up firing).

Dec 6, 2024 · Love mine. I’ve had the Nakamichi Dragon and the 990c. Returned both. For my living room set up which was a larger odd shaped room I prefer the full blown Sonos with era300s and two subs by a lot. in my bedroom which is just a long rectangle they were all much closer.

Dec 29, 2020 · Sonos seems to be the standard but I have been using Yamaha MusicCast for 4-5 yrs and have found it very trouble-free and effective. Once you become accustomed to the app it works well. Yamaha has a relatively complex streaming services matrix and some services are not available on all Yamaha devices.

However, after one issue too many, I've decided to replace the Bluesound streamer in my primary system with a Sonos Port.
