Taken together, these works capture the evolution of abstraction across six decades, showcasing works that engage with bold color, dynamic textures, and innovative forms.

The Bakersfield Museum of Art is located in downtown Bakersfield next to Mill Creek at Central Park. The main museum entrance is located on the north side of the building. Free Public Parking is available on the north and west side of the building.
