🏈On September 20, 1970 Steelers number 1 overall pick Terry Bradshaw struggles in his NFL debut going 4 of 16 for 70 yards while throwing an interception and sacked twice in Pittsburgh’s 19-7 loss to the Houston Oilers at the newly opened Three Rivers Stadium. Bradshaw was also sacked for a safety, the first of 3 straight games in which this would happen. The game also marked the NFL debut of Mel Blount. The Steelers began the decade in a new conference and a new stadium with a new quarterback.
