🚩 EMERGENCY UPDATE: High Wind Warning and Flood Alerts Expanded ​ Severe weather conditions have intensified across Hawaiʻi Island. The National Weather Service has upgraded and expanded the High Wind Warning, while a Flood Advisory and Flood Watch remain in effect due to persistent heavy rainfall. ​As of this morning, approximately 13,000 customers on Hawaiʻi Island are without power, primarily in Hilo and along the Hāmākua Coast, as powerful gusts continue to down trees and utility lines. ​Hi
