As part of an ongoing initiative to connect with groups who may not typically access our support, we recently sponsored a dominoes competition at The Pineapple Club in South East London; a lunch club for retired members of the Afro Caribbean community. Projects like this, allowed us to find out about the cancer experiences of club members – good or bad - to help us improve our services and also help shape cancer care within the NHS.
