Mighty Ducks: The Animated Series, aired in the mid-1990s and followed a team of anthropomorphic, hockey-playing ducks from an alien dimension called Puckworld. These heroes crash-land on Earth in Anaheim and take up residence in the Pond, battling the villainous reptilian Dragaunus and his Saurian minions who also seek to conquer our planet. Blending action, sci-fi elements, and hockey, the show served as a non-canonical, futuristic adventure spin-off of the beloved live-action film franchise.
