Preparing for my parent’s first Mexican food experience. Used recipes from @Stella ‘n Spice 🌶 and @Isabel Eats Since mom & dad like steaks, I’m starting them with an easy entry menu, carne asada tacos with onions, cilantro, cotija cheese. Also made some spicy shrimp as well. Home fried tortilla chips with guacamole and pico de gallo. Elote with sweet corn, mayo, butter, cotija cheese and Tajin. Then finish with margaritas. A lot of you asked me if you can use a tortilla press to make flour tortillas, and unfortunately you can’t but if you make this 50/50 flour and corn tortillas you are most definitely able to use it! You get the best of both worlds in one bite!
