Maui Short Term Rental BAN - Here’s a quick update on what actually matters right now. The legislation that would phase out half of Maui’s short term rentals is called Bill 9. After much debate it was passed by the Maui County Council, and officially signed into law by Mauis Mayor on December 15, 2025.
