An old makita 9069 grinder with a smashed bevel gear. Seeing as the head holding the lock pin was also smashed, I'd say someone used the lock as a brake causing this damage. Time you come across problem like this matching parts for makita. Of a part has been updated of modified the old and new components may not be compatible. Luckily I still had the old style bevel gear in stock. These where not the most expensive grinder in thier day, but they where still one of the best. Extremely well built
