Mavericks surf contest criticized for excluding women
One of the surf world's biggest events gets underway Friday under a wave of controversy. Held only when the conditions are just right, the Titans of Mavericks competition in Northern California is a rare contest. But in the 17 years since the competition was first held, only men have competed. Carter Evans reports.
