It can spread quickly. It has a classic “honey colored crust” on exam. ➡️ How to treat? Usually it can resolve with topical ointment! Often @firsthoneynz Manuka Honey Ointment (can be found on Amazon) or prescription mupirocin ointment. Sometimes oral antibiotics are needed if it’s spreading or not improving.
