OHS Announces New Head Start Program Performance Standards

These are the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)-recommended actions when a suspended glass panel swings uncontrollably while two workers are on a lift: • Immediately cease all crane or rigging movement and communicate a stop to the hoist operator. • Secure the work platform/lift—lock position, lower if safe, and ensure stability. • Establish a clear exclusion zone below and around the swing path of the panel until it is stabilized. • Use qualified riggers and signalers to re-r
