Mustang Island's first sea turtle nesting of the season just took place today. This video was shot by Lee Harrison, who is part of the Amos Rehabilitation Keep's turtle patrol and also is a South Jetty staff photographer. Her voice can be heard on this video. The turtle laid 103 eggs. The eggs were retrieved by wildlife authorities and will be incubated until the young hatch and are released into the wild.
