Today we held our opening 2026 sale of 143 Store Cattle and Feeding Bulls of all classes. The new year opened on a high with Mr D Smith, Far Close, Dufton, topping the sale at £2575 for a nineteen-month-old Limousin cross British Blue bullock, selling to Mr D Barker. This run averaged £2442.50. Heifers topped at £2295 for a dairy-bred British Blue from Messrs E Hird, Park Head, and closely followed at £2155 for a dairy-bred Aberdeen Angus heifer from the same home.
